Ballad Poem
The civil war
Full of battles and deaths
But many victories
The Anaconda Plan
Was a union victory
To gain control of the Mississipi River
The Bull Run
Was a Confederate victory
It encouraged the south to strive for victory
Vicksburg
A Union victory
Divided confederacy on half along the Mississipi River
The Union victories
The bloodiest battles
Of the civil war
Full of battles and deaths
But many victories
The Anaconda Plan
Was a union victory
To gain control of the Mississipi River
The Bull Run
Was a Confederate victory
It encouraged the south to strive for victory
Vicksburg
A Union victory
Divided confederacy on half along the Mississipi River
The Union victories
The bloodiest battles
Of the civil war
Narrative Poem
All my childhood
I believed everything would be okay
But from my view
Everythin seems to go the wrong way
My life changed
Ever since that day
That I'll never forget
Its one of those things that I'll tell
Eveytime I remember
I burst into tears
I wipe them away
So no one can see
I feel the pain inside
You look at me
And all you see
Is a happy face
But deep down I feel alone
In this big world
Where everything is black and gray
Never seeing the end of day
Never knowing when the day will end
Struggling to keep up
Openig my eyes
I see my reality of pain and hate
Hating you
For all of the things you done
Never feeling sorry for you
Cause you never felt sorry for me
My life would never be the same
Having this memory of what you did
Never letting it go
Holding a grudge against you
I believed everything would be okay
But from my view
Everythin seems to go the wrong way
My life changed
Ever since that day
That I'll never forget
Its one of those things that I'll tell
Eveytime I remember
I burst into tears
I wipe them away
So no one can see
I feel the pain inside
You look at me
And all you see
Is a happy face
But deep down I feel alone
In this big world
Where everything is black and gray
Never seeing the end of day
Never knowing when the day will end
Struggling to keep up
Openig my eyes
I see my reality of pain and hate
Hating you
For all of the things you done
Never feeling sorry for you
Cause you never felt sorry for me
My life would never be the same
Having this memory of what you did
Never letting it go
Holding a grudge against you
