And the story continues
Looking back on it later, Claire thought she should have known trouble was coming, but really, in Morganville, anything could be trouble. Your college professor doesn’t show for class? Probably got fanged by vampires. Takeout forgets to put onions on your hamburger? The regular onion delivery guy disappeared – again, probably due to vampires. And so on.
For a college town, Morganville had a remarkable lot of vampires. But this problem wasn’t a disappearance at all. It was an appearance ... something new, something different, and something cool, at least in her boyfriend Shane’s opinion, because as Claire was sorting the mail for their weird little fraternity of four into the “junk” and “keep” piles, Shane grabbed the flyer she’d put in “junk” and read it with the most elated expression she’d ever seen on his face. Scary. Shane didn’t get excited about much; he was guarded about his feelings, mostly, except with her.Now he looked as delighted as a little kid at Christmas.
“Mike!” he bellowed, and Claire winced and put her hands over her ears. When Shane yelled, he really belted it out. “Yo, Dead Man, get down here!”
Michael, their third housemate here at the Glass House, must have assumed that there was an emergency underway ... not an unreasonable assumption, because hey, Morganville. So he arrived at a run, slamming the door back, looking paler than usual, and more dangerous than normal, too. When he was acting like a regular guy, he seemed quiet and sweet, maybe a little too practical sometimes, but Vampire Michael was a whole different, spicy deal.Yeah, she was living in a house with a vampire. And strangely, that was not the weirdest part of her life.
Michael blinked the tinges of red away from his blue eyes, ran both hands through his wavy blond hair, and frowned at Shane. “What the hell is your problem?” He didn’t wait to hear, though; he walked over to the counter and got down one of their mismatched, battered coffee mugs. This one was black with purple Gothic lettering that spelled out POISON. It was their fourth housemate Eve’s cup, but she still hadn’t made an appearance this morning. Claire took the paper from Shane’s hand and smoothed it out on the table. She’d only glanced at it when sorting mail, she’d thought it was some kind of gym. Which it was, in a way, but it wasn’t teaching spin and yoga and all that stuff.
This one was a gym and martial arts studio, and it was teaching self defense. Or at least that was what Claire took from the graphic of some guy in a white jacket and pants kicking the crap out of the air, and the words DEFEND YOURSELF in big, bold letters at the bottom.
Michael leaned over her shoulder, slurping coffee. “Huh,” he said. “Weird.”

Ghost Town
Claire Danvers, paper shoved into her hands by a passing student. Thinking this doesn’t sound like a good idea. Talking to some boy named Alex about the flyer, which was about a party. At least he talked to her better than her usual score with college guys. Except the ones who wanted to do something terrible to her, those talked a lot. She walked to the common grounds, the off campus coffee shop. While walking her phone rang it was her boss. At the common grounds, which is owned by a vampire named Oliver. Leaving the common grounds with a bit of joy, she went to the bookstores. She found a book, Morganville history she bought it and left. She went to the park to read it, didn’t take her long to finished it. She went home found Michael washing the dishes, which was her day to clean. Eve came home and was on dinner patrol. She brought sandwiches from the university center. After they ate, Claire fidgeted around to restless to study missing Shane. Eve finally snapped at her about pacing around and moving stuff. She went to the secret room, she had no idea she fell asleep. Then she thought she was dreaming because someone was touching her but not molesting her or anything. It was Shane, the next day she toke a shower. Shane telling her she takes too long. She went to her room fixed her bed and changed. She left and went to work. Coffees in hands she headed to Myrnins lab. A police car pulled over next to her on the street. It was Chief Hannah Moses she waned at her. She told her she wanted her slow cooker back, she let Myrnin borrow it. Claire increased her pace past the day’s house which was identical to the glass house. She turned right down the narrow fenced alley. The door of the shack banged open before she could reach it. Myrnin charged out grabbed his coffee and dashed back in. before Claire could say anything, she went in human speed into the shack. Myrnin was bent over a microscope checking his blood for any trace of bishop’s virus. They went across the lab to were the machine Claire built. He’d made some additions to it. He hadn’t tested it though. She walked to the wooden cabinet that covered the doorway. It was locked, she found the key opened the door and concentrated imagining the living room of the glass house. Facing her was the back of the couch at home. She flinched as a shadow walked in front of her. It was only eve. She tossed the book through the open connection and on the other side saw eve raise her hands to catch it the book hit eves palms and crumbled to dust. The color faded out again turning it black and white, the just to darkness. Myrnin was standing next to her. He was tapping a finger in his lips, saying that was interesting. Over the next three days, Claire didn’t go home for long. She went to the store and bought plastic toys, which she spent hours tossing through the portal. Bored Eve, then Michael, and then Shane. She keeps tossing toys to Shane through the portal. She whirled around to an unsteady stop, and Shane caught her. The left and Claire toke Shane to the doctor because something bad could of happen to him. It turned out that Shane was okay. So they left the hospital and into the late afternoon sun. They stopped at the park, and decided they wanted to go to the movies. They got home and ate chili dogs. She went up the stairs, to use the bathroom but eve was rushing toward it. Claire told eve if they could use her car and she said yes since she was going to a party. She left so it was only Shane and Claire. They were leaving when Amelia was standing there. Amelia a vampire and protector of Claire, founder of Morganville. They started talking about Shane’s dad frank Collins, who is a vampire. Frank Collins asked to be registered in Morganville. Amelia has allowed it, she left and Shane and Claire went to the movies. They were at the movies when eve called saying something terrible happened at the party. So Claire and Shane went and while they were they killed a vampire. They were sitting in a room in the elder’s council building. Amelia sat at one end of the long table and Oliver sat at the other side. Police chief Hannah Moses was seated on one side, along with Mayor Richard morel. They gave her two alternatives; the first one was that she’ll be given in Myrnin charge until she completed the machine. The second was she could choose someone to suffer punishment in the funders square. Claire chose the first chose, a vamp guard toke her to Myrnins lab. They got their and Myrnin was waiting outside, grabbed Claire and toke her inside the lab. She had to work on the machine without sleep. Claire keeps on working on it without sleep. She finished it and she fainted. When she woke up Myrnin, Amelia, Oliver and Federick Von Hesse they were looking at the machine. They let her leave and she went home. She got home to tired to go upstairs, just layed on the couch and slept. Eve and Shane were happy to have her back. Then she went to take a shower and someone knocked on door, she opened it and it was deserted. She went to her room found Michael in there and didn’t know who she was. He remembered and they went downstairs to eat breakfast. Claire went to see her parents and Shane went with her. While they were walking they saw some guy who didn’t remember who he was. They left and got to Claire’s parents house. Her mom went upstairs to get Claire’s dad. Claries dad had a heart attack and they toke him to the hospital. Claire’s mom and dad had permission to leave Morganville to get better treatment for Claire’s father. Claire and her friends left the hospital and went to got eat. While they were eating a vampire came in screaming. Claire knew there was something wrong in Morganville. The next day she saw some girl who didn’t remember where her mom’s realty was. A man told her that her mom was dead. Claire knew it was the machine, she went to Myrnins lab. They went to go see the machine, and Myrnin told her he was the only one to alter the machine. She went home and Michael didn’t remember who she was and didn’t remember he was a vampire. He walked into the sun and started to burn and Shane toke him the hospital. Amelie didn’t remember Claire, nor did eve, and Myrnin. She came and he did remember who she was. The next day Shane didn’t remember her. He left and she went after him. She told him he had amnesia and brought him back to the hospital. Frank Collins showed up, he is going to help them go destroy the machine. Michael and eve came home, Claire told them everything and believed her. They went Myrnin lab and he tried to kill them. Claire opened a portal to let in frank and his buddies. While they were fighting a portal opened and it was Amelia and Oliver. Amelia was telling Myrnin that he knew what he was doing was bad. Myrnin ran away and locks the door and they can’t leave. Claire, Shane, Eve, Frank, Oliver, West go through another way. They going the other way and the vampires start to choke up blood. Then Shane, Claire, and Eve start to choke too. Claire is the only one that knows the ways and she gets them out. They find Myrnin and Oliver, frank start fighting him. Something falls on frank and he is stuck. He tells them to leave and then he blows up the place. They remember again, the machine was destroyed and frank died. They leave and go home, in the middle of the night Myrnin calls Claire. He tells her to come to the lab, she goes to the lab. He tells her he can put up the boundaries up again.

The civil war
Full of battles and deaths
But many victories
The Anaconda Plan
Was a union victory
To gain control of the Mississipi River
The Bull Run
Was a Confederate victory
It encouraged the south to strive for victory
Vicksburg
A Union victory
Divided confederacy on half along the Mississipi River
The Union victories
The bloodiest battles
Of the civil war

All my childhood
I believed everything would be okay
But from my view
Everythin seems to go the wrong way
My life changed
Ever since that day
That I'll never forget
Its one of those things that I'll tell
Eveytime I remember
I burst into tears
I wipe them away
So no one can see
I feel the pain inside
You look at me
And all you see
Is a happy face
But deep down I feel alone
In this big world
Where everything is black and gray
Never seeing the end of day
Never knowing when the day will end
Struggling to keep up
Openig my eyes
I see my reality of pain and hate
Hating you
For all of the things you done
Never feeling sorry for you
Cause you never felt sorry for me
My life would never be the same
Having this memory of what you did
Never letting it go
Holding a grudge against you
I believed everything would be okay
But from my view
Everythin seems to go the wrong way
My life changed
Ever since that day
That I'll never forget
Its one of those things that I'll tell
Eveytime I remember
